  • The Gonzales County Sheriff’s Office was recently awarded a merchandise grant valued at $6173.20 from the local Friends of the National Rifle Association Foundation. Pictured is member George Reese presenting Sheriff Matt Atkinson a check representing the award. The merchandise grant was used to purchase twelve Glock 17, 9mm handguns which will used by Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies. Thank you Lexington of Texas Friends of the NRA for supporting local law enforcement.
